In science and technology, students explore the natural and made worlds. They learn how to apply scientific and technological skills, knowledge and understanding across a broad range of contexts.
Science provides a way of inquiring about the world around us. It explores evidence and investigates ways to discover, develop and produce solutions to real world problems. The inquiry and skill-based nature of science opens doors to ideas and discoveries.
The NSW Science K–10 (incorporating Science and Technology K–6) can be found on the National Education Standards Authority (NESA) website.
Stage Statements give parents an overview of the learning in Science in each stage of learning from Early Stage 1 (Kindergarten) through to Stage 3 (Year 5 and 6).
A Parent Guide to the new Science Syllabus has also been prepared by NESA.
Students across the school enjoy practical, hands-on opportunities to develop essential 21st century skills through the use of technology and robotics. They learn coding, visual programming and problem-solving skills using robots such as Lego EV3 Mindstorms, Bluebots, Dash robots and Micro:bits.

"We acknowledge and respect the traditional custodians on whose land our school rests. Their footsteps and whispers blow in the wind, drift on the clouds, remain deep in the sandstone and float on the waterways of this place. Their memories and Dreaming stories will continue to connect us to the land and guide future generations of our school community. Country is alive if you take the time to look, listen and learn."
