Debating
BNPS has been involved in the Premier’s Debating Challenge for the last 5 years and Team Manning were Zone winners in 2020 albeit in a reduced competition. There are two teams made up of year 5 and 6 students who debate various topics ranging anywhere from issues in education to fitness and health. There is also a debating club here at school which is an ideal way to introduce structured debating coaching. Masters Academy is the leading provider of debating and public speaking services to schools in NSW and they have offered extra-curricular, parent-paid debating programs to us, delivered on school grounds, for the last two years. The club is held before school on Wednesdays.
