Chess

Balgowlah North Public School has offered chess as an extra-curricular activity for many years. The Chess Club meet weekly at lunchtimes in the library and tutelage is provided by the Sydney Academy of Chess. During the lessons, students from Kindergarten to Year 6 are involved in solving a range of puzzles and then challenge one another to competitive games.
