Band Program

Balgowlah North Public School offers a rich musical experience with multiple ensembles catering to different skill levels. We have strong and vibrant music ensemble program which cater for students from Year 3 - 6.

Currently we have a Concert Band Program comprising three bands to cater for the different levels of ability.

The program is an extra-curricular activity delivered by professional conductors and a Band Manager with support from the leadership of the school and the P&C.  Families pay a fee to be part of the program which gives them access to expert tutoring and administration while your child is learning a skill for life.

Rehearsal Schedule – each band has two rehearsals a week as below:

Monday morning 7.40am – Junior Band – Emma Clain

Monday Lunch – Concert Band – Emma Clain

Tuesday morning 7.40am – Performance Band – Angus Bullough

Tuesday Lunch – Junior Band - Ashleigh Lane

Wednesday morning 7.40am – Concert Band - Ashleigh Lane

Thursday morning 7.40am - Performance Band - Emma Clain
